IMG_5957_ccAt Waterview, the wellbeing, comfort and security of our residents is our utmost priority. We are proud to provide homely accommodation appropriate to each level of care in an environment that is bright, open and friendly.

Waterview comprises 97 beds in four wings over two levels. An elevator links the upper and lower floors and there are no steps to negotiate. All rooms are appointed with equipment to aid people who are physically challenged and all flooring is non-slip.

Our low care accommodations provide people who need some assistance with their daily living activities with their own private suite and ensuite bathroom, whilst our high care nursing home accommodates people who need increased assistance with their daily living activities in shared rooms.

Our Extra Services accommodations provide for both low care and high care needs in a private room with ensuite bathroom, with the inclusion of additional hotel-type services.

We want residents to feel at home at Waterview, so we encourage residents to decorate their room with personal items to create a feeling of home. Depending on the room type and space available, larger pieces of furniture may be permitted. All personal items brought into the facility must meet Work Health and Safety Standards, so please discuss the suitability of items with the Admissions Officer.

The safety and security of our residents is paramount. Our security camera system, installed in all communal areas and corridors, enables us to monitor activities throughout the facility to help ensure residents’ safety and security 24 hours a day. A locked keypad system is installed to all entry and exit doors and a contracted security company performs nightly patrols around the facility. Emergency call buttons, installed to residents’ bedrooms and bathrooms and throughout the communal areas of the facility, alert nursing staff around the clock in the case of an emergency. We can also supply a Vital Call personal emergency alert pendant for residents to keep on their person.
