Over 90 qualified nursing staff are involved in delivering quality care services to our residents at Waterview. With 24-hour nursing assistance available seven days a week, residents can be assured that support and a friendly face is always close by.
All staff employed by Hunter Valley Care hold a qualification relevant to their position and must pass compulsory assessments that are conducted in the workplace. We select staff based on suitable skills, experience, passion for care and a good-natured attitude.
We understand that the transition into aged care can bring up sensitive issues for residents. To support those coming into our care, we offer counselling from our compassionate staff, who will meet with residents on admission to discuss their emotional state and provide support where needed. Staff will continue to meet with the resident to help them adjust to their new lifestyle and living environment. Any significant outcomes of these sessions will be discussed with the resident’s family.
Chaplains are also available to provide spiritual and emotional support to residents, or we can arrange a visit from representatives of any denomination.
With the professional and personal commitment of our qualified, experienced team, you can be assured that we have your loved one’s physical, psychological and social wellbeing in mind at all times.
